I am so excited to share the first episode of the Corona Cafe podcast with you! In this episode, Chimére Smith talks about her experiences as a Black woman living with long Covid. This conversation is real and raw. There’s a lot of laughing but also a deep dive into heavy stuff, like racism, medical gaslighting, and suicidal ideation. If you have the bandwidth to take a few steps into the dark, I promise you’ll be rewarded with a whole lot of light!
Please listen, learn, enjoy, and share with your friends!
Hugs,
Lisa
P.S. There’s a bit of a lag, but Corona Cafe should appear on Apple Podcasts within the next day or so. I’m not sure yet how many episodes I’ll end up producing. I have a couple more almost ready to go, but I’m taking things a day at a time. That said, if you want to hear interviews on particular themes related to living with long Covid (or other chronic illnesses), please let me know!
P.P.S. Throw Chimére some love in the comments!
This was SO great! Thanks for having such a detailed conversation with Chimére. It was really enlightening and relatable.
I am so excited to listen to this!!!
