From One Exhausted Soul to Another

I’m tired today. Tired, dizzy, achey-headed, foggy-brained, and with an ear infection to boot! I’ve been working on a piece that I was excited to share with you, but it isn’t quite ready, and I don’t have the mental power to finish it today. Old Me would have attempted to power through anyway. New Me is learning to be gentler with myself. Rather than offering you my own writing this week, I’ll share a blessing from poet and philosopher John O’Donohue’s beautiful book, “To Bless the Space Between Us.” Don’t worry, you don’t need to be religious to find beauty (and yourself) in these words. It’s as if he penned them with long-haulers in mind.
